Regatta

Sailboat racing is visually sensational - it can be exciting and raucous, quiet and tense, mesmerizing and soothing, and everything in between.  It is about wind (obviously) and weather, color and motion, starting line tactics, mark roundings, and spinnaker runs.  As much as there is to see out on the race course, there is just as much happening on the docks or on the beach - regatta day preparations and after race celebrations.  Sailing is also in our family blood, which makes it familiar subject matter - always the best kind.
